Poppy the Tea Cozy

Growing up on an island in Denmark summers would often be short but beautiful. Especially when by Midsummer there would be a full color palette of wildflowers blooming at the side of all the country roads and the ones that I loved the most were the bright red Poppies. They always reminded me of the red jackets of the Queens Guard and even if they only would last a day or so indoors, I would pick gigantic bouquets of them. Till this day it makes me happy to see their heads dancing and swaying along the roads and the rolling hills wherever they grow!  That's why I chose these beautiful flowers for the Tea Cozy, which by the way is an amazing invention. It will keep your coffee or tea pot warm for a long time without using any energy!
